So here are the first set of pictures from my trip to Washington, D.C., including some pictures from around the Mall, a couple of Smithsonian Museums, and last night’s lighting of the National Christmas Tree off the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. More to come…

  3. Most of these were from my time on the mall, last Saturday (12/5). I’m really looking forward to checking out the native american museum this weekend, as I’ve heard nothing but great things about that one. Also, I’m planning on hitting a few jazz clubs tonight with a friend from Rifle, CO (also here on a detail) and possibly heading out to Arlington tomorrow morning. We’ll see how tonight goes….
